[SOLVED] Dropping connection when uploading ?

Hi,

I'm not very technical so please bear with me .

After a windows update back in September, my pc started randomly disconnecting me from internet, whenever I try to upload files. I am using realtek 8811cu wireless USB. I also get the message "default gateway not available" Download is fine but as mentioned when uploading it disconnects every 3/4 mins if anyone can suggest anything I could try that would be great.

Yeh disabled malwarebytes - windows settings have always been the same

do have other devices the same problem?

Which wifi driver did you install? (link please)

driver: https://www.realtek.com/en/component/zoo/category/rtl8811au-software it doesn't actually list the cu at the end as in 8811cu

No other devices

Have restarted windows many times

The realtek driver you linked should be working.

Which model is written on the USB adapter itself?

Try a different WIFI adapter if possible, maybe yours is faulty
