Hello all,
I did a search for drywall and sheetrock to no avail. I felt that "dust" in general would be a bit broad because of the unique nature of drywall dust.
We renovated my lower level of my house (where the air handler unit is) and of course neglected to turn off the A/C. Our Central Air pumped drywall dust throughout the house and.. into the office....
My PC sucked up a decent amount of this terrible stuff but is still operating fine. It ran a bit hot recently and i took it apart to clean and noticed some unseen dust under the CPU fan (in between the fan and the heatsink) and i'm sure that there is more in the nooks and crannies.
I have vaccumed out a lot, and blown out a lot however the nature of drywall dust is sticky and clingy, and ABRASIVE.. I would love to hear some tips from you folks as to the BEST and SAFEST way to continue cleaning my PC.
I very much appreciate any advice folks. If I don't hear otherwise I will likely proceed by cleaning with careful dabs of 90% iso and a q-tip.
Thanks,
Chad
