I have a Netgear N 150 wireless router+adsl modem, with 4 Ehternet ports.
Recently changed to cable & connected my new Cable Modem with it by using Lan Wire to Ethernet Port 1 & Ethernet Port 3 to PC.

I can access internet directly with the Ethernet Diret port but what i want is to set the Wireless connection instead.

Please advise. Thank you!

If you all ready have the modem part (The part that gets the interwebs into your house) then all you need is the router. Go wireless, shop around. Read the reviews. A good router can last you years, course, a bad router can last you years too but it's a headache. Ya, too big a field for me to really point you in a good direction.
Time for a new router. Get something without a modem inside it and it will be set for adding the signal. You need a WAN port for the internet to go through, else your connecting each item individually rather than routing, which is more a switch that a router. Don't be too worried, wireless routers are cheap, well, relatively cheap, depends on what you get. My little brother bought a Belkin on sale for like 13$. He's had it for years now. It's not the greatest, but it's plenty fast enough for what he's using it for.
