Hello, i was just wondering if anyone knew if there is a such thing as a fan cable with 2 3-pin fan connectors at one end and 1 4-pin pwm connector that would plug into a motherboard, because my motherboard only has 1 3-pin fan header, and i need to run 5-6 fans, that includes the 2 fans on the cpu cooler, which are the most important..... But i also have like 3-4 other fan headers that are 4-pin headers on the motherboard, so i was thinking i could use a few of these... You know, like if it actually exists.

Okay, first I'm a little confused because you want a fan splitter that has 4-pin on the motherboard side but then say you only have a 3-pin connector.

*To be clear, you should only use the CPU fan header for the CPU fans. If it's a 3-pin header make sure the CPU fans are only 3-pin or you can't control them.

**As well, you can't just put up to six fans on a single fan header as you may overload it and damage the motherboard. You need to read the specs for the fan header and fans to see how much power they can handle.

If you have 6 fans, then I suggest you do THIS:

#1 - fan splitter for the CPU (3-pin to 2x 3-pin)

#2 - case fans don't go to motherboard. Either buy a separate fan controller or just get low-noise fans. Chances are...

Also, a single front and single rear fan is probably quite adequate.
