I recently bought a Linksys AC1200FE router so I could take advantage of its 5 GHz ac capabilities. Soon after buying the router I realized that I did not have a dual band NIC, so I upgraded to an Asus PCE-N53 wireless card, which is a dual band wireless card. I can not find my 5 GHz signal, and my PC is directly one floor up from my router so I do not suspect a range issue. My old laptop can connect to the 5 GHz network as well as my iPhone. I am running Windows 10 Build 9926 (maybe the problem?) in beta. Also, my connection to the 2.4 GHz signal seems to have gotten WORSE since upgrading to the new wireless card. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks very much.
