[SOLVED] Dual Channel @1600MHz vs Quad Channel @1333MHZ

I have 2x4gb of 1600MHz DDR3 and also have 2x2gb of 1333MHz DDR3. Ideally I'd like to run all at the same time for increased capacity, but I was wondering the implications of the frequency. Would there be any speed gains/loss for running Quad Channel at lower speeds vs. Dual Channel at higher speeds?

I'm assuming I wouldn't lose any speed and possibly gain, but just wanted to ask. Thanks!

Does your motherboard actually support Quad channel?

Just because it has 4 DIMM slots doesn't mean its quad channel. Dual vs Quad channel is a limitation of the chipset.
