I have a 4gb 1600mhz Fury White stick on my mobo. I want to buy another one. My question: can i dual channel them or do i have to buy a new kit of 2x4gb for that? And knowing that i'll only use my pc for gaming and maybe streaming for some friends, does dual channel matter?

Solution
DUal channel will provide better overall performance (can be up to 10+ %) and additionally just the additional DRAM will provide a performance boost also for most everybody, 8GB is the basic entry level for rigs these days. Mixing DRAM from different packages, even the same exact model can be and often is problematic, but with the Fury's being PnP rather than XMP based I've seen fewer problems with them than the more conventional XMP sticks
Dual channel will certainly give you better performance, in saying that it's still up to you if you want to use this feature or not. However if you buy the exact same 4GB 1600mhz Fury then you'll be able to duel channel, just stick to the same colour on your mobo.
