[SOLVED] Dual channel not working?

Z370p d3 motherboard and corsair vengeance lpx 16gb kit 3000mhz not working in dual channel? The pc will not boot if I have them in dual channel, either 1&3, or 2&4, so 2&3 it is for now until I find z solution

Edit: after reading more threads my cpu cooler was too tight. I loosened the screws and voila! I have my ram in A2and B2 running dual no problem
