Should i buy

Kingston HyperX Beast 2400Mhz 4x4
or
Kingston HyperX Predator Beast 2400Mhz 2x8 ???

Which is the better choice for performance in gaming

Your motherboard only supports dual channel memory meaning you'll see no benifit with quad-channel over dual channel. Go with whatever is cheaper unless you plan on getting more RAM (for whatever reason) in the future, in that case go with dual channel so you have two open slots for more RAM

No ram above 1600mhz is going to show any preformance gain in gaming. But if you can by the 2x8gb stick for one z87 doesnt do quad channel so 4 sticks would still be dual channel and two it takes ess voltage to run 2 dimms then it does 4 which is easier on your motherboard

sorry for hijacking the thread, i'm also having the same problem, 2x8 or 4x4 GB - i don't understand one thing you said here : 4 sticks would still be dual channel and two it takes ess voltage to run 2 dimms then it does 4 which is easier on your motherboard

you're saying 4 sticks is easier on the mobo? and getting the same performance?

dual channel is a function supported by the motherboard. If the mobo does not support quad channel, more ram =/= faster ram. Modern ram is usually fast enough by itself without trying to split the data more ways.
