Can I pair a 8GB hyperx 2400MHz with a 8GB hyperx 2666MHz and run them in dual channel.

It's possible. But ANYTIME you mix memory you have no guarantees. I might work, it might not.

If it DOES work, it will ALL run at a maximum of 2400mhz. All you can do is try but you'd be a lot better off if you haven't purchased it yet, either buying one set of two sticks that add up to the entire amount of memory you want to run and are matched and tested to work together, or at least buying a second set of the exact same sticks that you already have.

If that's not possible, then it might work, but it is a crapshoot.
