Whats better? Dual core i7 or quad core i5
For macbook pro

Have you got it the wrong way around? Dual core i5 or Quad core i7? Or I'm missing something but I don't think so.

Quad Core i7 is better, just depends if you need it.

@RCFProd Intel's mobile CPU naming conventions are weird. All low power (-U) Core i CPUs (including i7s) are dual core + HT. The only quad cores were full power i7s. Starting with Skylake, they introdcued -H i5s that are quad cores as well. So you can end up with i7s having less cores than i5s.

Yeah I know. However I'm sure the new line-up has dual core i5's and quad core i7 models. Not the other way around.
