Hello all...been a while since I've logged in.
I'm sort of thinking of building another computer...because it's been a long time since my last one, which was at the beginning of Windows 7.
Anyway, I am Looking into the mini's
Question: Does anyone know of a mini motherboard, with an AM5 socket, that has dual Display Port's? Seen plenty with one, but I am hoping to find one with two. I have seen an Intel with dual USB C ports that will support Display Port, but I really would like to stay with AMD and I like the traditional style of Display Port, that many mistake for an HDMI port.
Thanks for the help

Love those small builds, but they come with issues.
Is there a reason why you need the small size of a ITX system?
What will this system be used for?

One can always install a discrete graphics card with multiple dp connections.

I did not know they had expansion slots to add peripherals. I just like the really small footprint. And, they now have good computing power with the cpu's now. My last build is so old, it is running a 3rd generation i7...still works fine, but slow.
What has caught my eye, is the GeekOm mini's with a super small case. I'm guessing they use a mini iTX motherboard? Or, is it something else?
Thanks for the help

That type usually uses proprietary boards with soldered CPU and memory and other ports for laptops. With fast USB ports it's possible you could use an USB to HDMI adapter

Something else.
ITX motherboards will be 170mm x 170mm in size.
They will have a single x16 slot to add in a discrete graphics card.

The geekom mini is 112 x117mm.
It is also Intel based.

About the smallest conventional ITX case might be the Lian li Q02 which is 5.87" x 9.06" x 7.87"
Not in new production, but available on ebay.

If you're talking about just buying a tiny pc there aren't anywhere near as many good AMD options as there are Intel. The Minisforum UM790 Pro is one of their latest AMD powered boxes and it has 2x HDMI + 2x USB-C with DP. You're still limited in expandability, but it does have 2 memory slots and 2 M.2 for storage.

Correct about the AMD options. Unfortunately, and has much as I like AMD, I am leaning towards the 11th gen Intel machine with an i7 which would have more than enough power for me (maybe a 12th gen. but I dont really need it, and not sure if it can support 1Tb SSD).
The intel minis does offer a large storage option, and it is the only one i've found that actually has an SD slot, which is very important for me due to all the game cameras used.
I could always get a dock, but I dont want to...The intel minis have the ports I need for two displays, and the power I need as I am not a gamer...other than Solitaire and Chess Kings :)
