I am tired of disconnecting my computer and moving it out to the television in order to watch films from my PC. Can someone tell me if it is possible to connect a tv and a crt to a dual display graphics card so that I can simply run a cable to the tv? Ideally it would allow me to keep my monitor settings and adapt to the requirments of the tv.

Thanks in advance and sorry if this question has been asked a hundred times.

OK... I'll bite... the answer to your question is yes... do some research online... most new cards let you do this... set your tv to primary display... use s-video for better quality...

Yes, I used to do that even with an old Xpert 98 @ play 8MB AGP card. Just hook up the monitor and svga to the tv, turn it on. You may have to enable your tv display from within ATI control panel, or your NVidia display settings. For me the monitor was primary display, but the card defaulted to 60Hz refresh rate on the monitor also because that was all it could do for the TV. This let me play games and watch dvd's on the tv, but still read text/websurf on the monitor. Maybe the newer cards and drivers work even better.
