[SOLVED] dual GTX 1080 Ti's in HP Z800 1110W, (for rendering only, no gaming ) anyone..?

Graphic render engines throw work out to total available Cuda and GPU mem. 1110wattage sufficient in Z800, but available cable outlets apparently require some creativity for a dual install. Purpose is only graphic rendering, so SLI and extra monitor not wanted. Price points on this potential rig now way down. Anyone out there accomplish this with any dual GTX 's on the Z800? Any such success with specific instructions really appreciated. Thxs much...

I don't see anything specifically preventing it. Seems to be room in the chassis for standard length PCIe graphics cards, plenty of slots.

If you are talking about PCIe power connectors, yes, you might need to use adapters to get all the required connections. Normally don't recommend doing that, but if you do have the 1100W PSU, that isn't a concern, just the quality of the adapters/pins/wires.

Here is one with two large cards installed:

Worst case scenario you get out the soldering iron and wire up your own connectors.
