[SOLVED] Dual Monitor 144hz and 60hz with HDMI

Can I run Dual Monitor 144hz and 60hz both with HDMI v2.0? Last time I had to use a Display Port and HDMI to get the 144hz to work. When I used two HDMI's, it would downgrade the 144hz to 60hz instead. What is the easiest inexpensive solution? My display port crapped the bed. What if I use an HDMI 2.0 for my 144hz and DVI for my 60hz?

I have a GTX1070 if that helps.

Yeah HDMI 2.0 should support 144hz. You can 'force' the display hertz in the advanced display settings.

Well can I run a 144hz and 60hz next to eachother (only one of my monitors is 144hz)? Most stuff I read says you have to basically find a workaround... So trying to find the easiest way

Yes you can by 'forcing' in the advanced display settings. Just set the hertz you want on each display adaptor.
