Dual Monitor Display

I have a 1080 connected with DVI to a monitor.
I have another monitor that only has DVI and VGA and would like to use it for a dual monitor set up.
However my 1080 only have 1 DVI slot (taken) and no VGA slot.
However my mobo does have a free DVI slot .
Is it possible to still have a dual monitor set up?

You should be able to use a HDMI/DVI adapter to connect the 2nd to your card.
