Dual monitor issues

So I picked up a dell 2k monitor yesterday. Plugged it it via Display Port and everything worked fine.

Boot up this morning and only 1 or the other turns on.

1st monitor DP 2k. 2nd monitor hdmi 1080p.

Ryzen2700x
Amd R9 290

Things i've tried.

going into display settings and pressing detect does nothing.
Rolled back drivers
disabled/enabled display device in control panel.
Both monitors display show in bios.
Monitors both work in eyefinity. but it still only shows 1 active monitor.
If I unplug the DP screen, the screen automatically switches to the hdmi screen but does not work the other way around.

Im at a complete loss as to why they worked as dual monitors yesterday and today they dont.

Any ideas/clues/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Pressing Windows+P you can see some options select Duplicate screen maybe it works "I think it sounds funny but maybe you haven´t tried yet"

yes, forgot to mention I've tried that. the problem is windows doesn't detect the hdmi monitor when the dvi one is plugged in.

i dont understand how both show Bios
and both work in eyefinity
and they both show the windows logo, then the hdmi one turns off before login screen
but with both of them plugged in, windows only shows 1 in exsistance, and clicking detect does nothing
so if i unplug the dp monitor, it switches to hdmi and that one turns on instantly
and as soon as i plug dp back in, it switches back

Uninstall your graphics drivers with DDU and try to reinstall them again and tell me the results

This got it working again! I'm afraid to shutdown incase it happens again lol
