i cant get my acer monitor to work with my dell...

Acer monitor is a vga cable connected, no signal..
( i remember i had to download some intel software and it worked, something like intel graphics.. )

pc specs just incase..http://pcpartpicker.com/p/YWrRwP

Solution
are you connecting your second monitor to the motherboard video out or the GPU? if your only rolling with two monitors, i recommend just hooking it to the GPU instead of dealing with multie graphics multie vender setup.

my gpu doesnt have vga =[ so yes im connecting to my mother board

your video card has analog output on its DVI-I plug. you just need an adapter. a lot of GPU venders include one in their retail boxes for GPU's. if yours did not, they are $5 on new egg.

is it worth? my 2nd monitor is old like windows xp.. acer not even hd, also its just for movies,p0rn,browsing

$5 seems worth it to me for not having to deal with multiple graphics subsystems (at one point i had 3 GPU's, it didn't end well). but if you want to save 5, you need to enable igpu multi monitor support in your BIOS. after that, boot in to windows, and install the latest Intel driver for your integrated graphics, reboot and you should be set. make sure to set windows to "extend these displays" instead of its default mirrored mode to get the extra desktop space.

how do i find my intel driver? dxdiag is only showing my amd..

this link should take you to the download page for your CPU's graphics driver. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/search?keyword=4th+Generation+Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics+4600

you will have to enable the igpu in BIOS before you can install the driver.

Solution

wow my igpu multi monitoring was already enabled.. is it weird that 2nd monitor isnt working? (havent installed the drivers yet)

also which intel should i download? this gna be long list, but the site u gave me has it in better format.

pasow is being very helpful but it seems you are trying to do this without EyeFinity for multiple monitor support which as he suggests is more problematic. I would definitely recommend using the included adapter since generic or older adapters may not work and you are then more confused. The basic WDDM driver is required and should have been installed during an update when not connected to the video card.

it appears my link was either ineffective or you got lost on the page. as GearUp said, the generics windows auto installs should be all you need. but for some more direct links to the Intel hosted ones, in case it makes any difference.

Also, pleas check control panel > administrative tools > computer management > Device Manager > Display Adapters and tell use if your seeing two GPU's, your AMD and Intel.

For clarification on the adapter. It may be that any adapter is now suitable but that was not always the case. I still have a monitor that does not fully implement DVI that would allow copy protected content. Otherwise it works and DVI-I should not be a problem. DisplayPort is still not accepted. What difference there could be is unknown and the desktop should still display.
