Question Dual Monitor Question

I have just bought dual monitors (2 x Acer Acer K242HLbid). The monitors have 1 HDMI/VGA/DVI

I have a PC and a laptop that I want to connect to both. My PC has 2 HDMI out ports. My laptop has 1 each of HDMI/VGA/VDI out.

I want to be able to have the PC and laptop both turned on at the same time but switch between the PC and laptop whenever I want - with a switch I would imagine. Can anyone help with what type of cables/splitters/switches I would need?

You want a KVM (keyboard, Video Mouse) switch.

This is just a random example I have no experience with modern KVM's. The last one I used was back in the 90s on a school computer.

Haha thanks. I'm not too bothered about sharing the keyboard/mouse, more about connecting the PC AND laptop to both monitors and switching the monitors between them when I want.
