My first computer build, not a gamer, am a trader (reason for the older gfx card configuration focusing on 2D applications).

After a long, frustrating day of set-up, I finally put all components into the mid-tower case. I went to begin to hook up monitors to graphics card, only to find out I did not have the correct cables.

Currently using VGA cord with single monitor for bios checks.

What type of cords do I need to purchase to run a dual monitor set-up off the following:

Gfx card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 Ti 4GB Video Card (http://pcpartpicker.com/product/Pp8H99/gigabyte-video-card-gvn75twf2oc4gi)

Monitors: HP Pavilion 21.5-Inch IPS LED HDMI VGA Monitor (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015WCV70W )

Thank you in advance.

Hi fellow trader.... I use a similar video card, Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB WINDFORCE Video Card, but with 4 monitors. Two are connected DVI and 2 are connected HDMI.

Get the HDMI cables as popatim suggests and you'll be all set.

Thank you. Like I wrote above, this build proved to be much more challenging/frustrating than my research led me to believe it would be. Figured I would ask for some help to make certain I did not screw anything up on the display end.

Hi Blackink. A four monitor set-up sounds interesting. How did you configure that off of a single graphics card? I only see two HDMI ports on mine, unless I missed something.

My graphics card is almost identical to yours except mine has 2GB memory and yours has 4GB. Yours is a newer card. If that was available when I built this PC, I would have gotten it.

The 4 monitors are Dells: P2314H and they have one of each: DVI, HDMI, and a Display Port connection.
I made my connections using 2 DVI cables and 2 HDMI cables.
I had no problems making the 4 monitor set-up once the video card and the drivers were installed and connected.

Here's a link to my build (I built this about 1 year ago):

Nice setup Blackink.

I'm a futures and options trader, so I run Think or Swim and Ninja Trader. I'll have to look up info. on eSignal.

But once you trade listening to Ben L. call the pit action at the CME through tos, there's really no other way to trade imho.
