[SOLVED] Dual Monitor Setup

Hi. I just bought a BenQ ZOWIE XL2411P which is a 24 inch monitor. I currently use a ASUS VG248 which is also a 24 inch gaming monitor. This sounds like a stupid question, but do the monitors have to be the same brand or can they be different? I know that it is recommended that the monitors be the same size. Thank you.

They don't have to be the same brand size or resolution. I run 3 displays all 3 are different brands, sizes and resolutions.
