Dual Monitor - Which cable to use (Display port vs DVI)

Hi,

I just acquired two Dell S2340L. They only have HDMI and VGA connectivity. My Sapphire Radeon HD6850 has DVI, HDMI and Display Port.

I'll use on of my monitor plugged from HDMI to HDMI, but for the second one, what should I do?

HDMI -> DVI
HDMI -> Display port

Or it doesn't matter which I choose and end result will be the same because signal from the monitor is HDMI?

I will probably try to set-up eyefinity on these monitor, if that changes anything (only to watch movies, no gaming)
