Been frustrated here so I figured I'd ask the experts. I'm semi tech inclined but this one driving me nuts. I have a 32" MSI curved gaming monitor that should run at 2560x1440 and that was it was. Then bought an ultrawide MSI curved 30" for work which should run at 2560x1080. I have them connected to a USB-C dongle that connects to my Aorus laptop with an NVidia 3080 card on it.
Issue- Since I connected I can't get the 32 to go back to 2560x1440 (not even an option under display options). Can't get the ultrawide to use the whole screen. Sometimes cant get chrome or anything on my start bar to open unless I open the laptop. (Laptop remains closed).
Graphics card has latest NVidia drivers.
