Hey guys,
having an issue with a friend of mine's rig.
We almost swapped everything to new components, but the issue still persists. So I need your help now:
Rig specs:
(new) CPU: Ryzen 3600X (stock)
(new) Motherboard: AsRock B550 Phantom Gaming V4
RAM: 16 GB Crucial Vengance 2600 (OC to 3000MhZ)
GPU: Radeon VII
(new) PSU: Corsair RX850 (850 Watts)
Other devices connected: 1 SATA-SSD, 1 DVD-ROM drive
The initial issue before swapping compontents was a frequent driver timeout when playing games like AC Valhalla or even WoW.
Since my wife and me just swapped our CPUs, we swapped CPU: same issue
Swapped my old Radeon VII vs a new 6800XT and gave my friend the VII: same issue
Now we also swapped motherboard and PSU: driver timeout is gone, but both monitors still shutting down during use.
I also checked theenergy power options in control panel: set them to performance and changed monitor shutdown to "never": issue is better, but still happening.
One monitor is connected with DP and the other with HDMI. Both run at 60 Hz
Do you have any other ideas what it could be?
