Hi guys, I have me here already a gtx 750ti with a mobo h170 with 1 monitor, im planning to buy the rx 480 and a second monitor, will this work? Amd and nvidia card together but different monitors, im planning to use 480 as my main gaming gpu, and the 750 for browsing and low end games, and if the corsair 550 psu will accommodate both gpu. Thx in advance

Solution
It can be very difficult to get the AMD and NVIDIA drivers to co-exist. I wouldn't mix them. If you want the 480, then completely uninstall the NVIDIA drivers prior to installing the AMD.

I have a GTX 750ti and I can run 2 monitors at a consistent 60fps, so if you do want an RX 480 I would just sell your 750ti and get a better monitor or graphics card.

Like kanewolf said, AMD and NVIDIA drivers don't work really well together, so you would never get the full performance out of them with both of them in your computer.

For about $100US more you can get a Radeon R9 Fury, or a good GTX 1060. IMO getting one of those would be the better choice that trying to combine the 750ti and rx 480.
