[SOLVED] Dual OS for Windows and MAC - Basics

Hi,

I'm building a system for a friend who wants it capable of running MAC and Windows. I have sourced the following storage components:

SSD: Crucial M4 250GB 2.5"
HDD: WD Caviar Blue 2TB 3.5"

Can anyone advise as to what a "Dual OS" is, how it works, and the requirements needed as I have zero clue. Thanks
