Allright, I've got a dual processor system (PII 400)with 128 RAM, TNT2 M64 32 Meg Video Card, and I'm running both Windows 2000 and Windows ME. I use ME only for games. Why is it that even with the dual processor, games that are now fully compatible for Windows 2000 run so much slower and have much longer load times than when I run them in ME???

The NT kernel that Win2K uses wasn't made for games. It's for stability and security; with all the extra processes, it results in slower gameplay.

Programs also need to be written for dual processors.

Run photoshop or autocad on a dualie and notice the difference!!
