Hello all, I am running a dell u2715h and a s27a950D. One is 2560x1440 and the other is 1920x1080.

I realized that the text for the 2560 is extremely small, so the regular settings for 1920x1080 is perfect for me. However when i change the text display options on monitor 1 (u2715h) and when I bring the window to the s27a950, it is enlarged and is a little too big for my liking.

Is there a way to make them consistent without sacrificing my higher reso on my first monitor?

Also, in my game when I try to change my game setting resolution in windows mode it does not allow me to go any higher than 800x600. I am only allowed to do so in fullscreen mode. Is my difference in monitor resolutions the reason for this?

Thank you for your time!

It sounds like you're looking to set the DPI settings on a per-monitor basis. This will be an option in Windows 10, when it launches. Right now it's not even in the current technical preview build but Microsoft has promised it will be in the final version.

As for the windowed resolution, it's probably something game-specific that was set up by the game designers on purpose.

It is one of my pet peeves....I can't handle sitting in front of multiple monitors of different resolutions/size. Slight differences (i.e. 24" to 23.5" or 1920 X 1080 vs. 1768 X 992) aren't too bad to deal with - but you have a massive size and resolution difference....

As for the game - I don't think it is monitor dependent - it should be based on what the game allows....

Yes that is what I am trying to do I think? I'm sorry I am not very tech saavy =[. I guess I'm fine with running my 2560x1440 at 1920 for now, but would that cause any issues? Would a 2560x1440 monitor running at 1920x1080 be better than a max reso monitor of 1920 or would it be the same? I don't think I would mind running my 2560x1440 monitor at 1920x1080 if it is similar or better until I get another 2560 to replace the 1920 as the changing sizes when I pull stuff to my extended display bugs me a little. At the same time when I open pages on chrome etc they are extremely small.
