Hello,
I have a digital monitor and hdtv hooked up to my ati radeon. monitor and tv run as extended desktop on different resolutions.(pc and tv located in defferent rooms and it makes it hard to transfer(slide) windows to tv and make sure it's full screen. any suggestions. running in clone mode will not work - I want to be able to run application on pc monitor while watching movie on TV

I have multiple monitors, I am running a 32" LCD TV and two 19" displays. The " trick" is to match the resolution as close as possible. In my case the 32" TV is 1080p or 1920x1080, the aspect ratio is 16:9. The 19" monitors are 1280x1024, the aspect ratio is 4:3.

With this set up my vertical resolution is relatively close 1080 and 1024, and my "windows" stay about the same size.

The trick is to adjust your digital monitor resolution down to match your TV, usually, and change the size of the icons and task bar, so you have a similar look.

You can adjust these with either windows display settings/resolution or your video card control panel.

Here's a link to a video of my set up.

I think this is what you are after.

How far is the room with an HDTV? I have dual monitor setup and when I'm watching HDTV though my PC(driving the HDTV i.e media center) i use Dinov Mini as my remote control/Keyboard.

The range is 33 feet from the Blue Tooth receiver. If your TV room is close enough, Dinovo Mini can serve as controller at the other end. You can make your resizing with the mouse function of the remote-control.

I just drag application between my LCD and HDTV then resize it accordingly using the mouse function of the divovo mini.

My first LCD screen was only 1650 x 1050 which is a bit smaller than the 1080P HDTV. As stated i drag the application with the mice.

An option for you to consider.

THANK YOU! EXACTLY what I was looking to do. Thanks again.
