I haven't touched it in a while and today was gonna play and the R2 isn't working. Tried to reset Doesn't work. I opened it, nothing seems damaged. I cleaned the circuits and the rubber with alchool and still nothing. If I press with the finger instead of the , the L2 works and the R2 doesn't.

So what might it be?

All in all, with the controller unused and sitting on a bookshelf, one could/would expect the controller to be functional. With the caveat that that location was not subject to high temperatures, direct, sunlight, high humidity, etc..

However, it is also likely that the materials used to make the controller just simply degraded with time. Especially if the materials were substandard or out of spec to cut costs....

I am going to move your post to PC Gaming - hopefully...
How long is "I haven't touched it in a while "?

Where was the Dualshock stored?

Wireless? Have you tried new batteries?

Hm... Probably January 20 because the last game I remember playing was Sekiro (it was working fine) and it was in the bookshelf.

It's not the battery since it's only one button. and I also tried with USB cable.

I am going to move your post to PC Gaming - hopefully someone there has experienced and resolved al similar problem with the Dualshock 4.
