My Dualshock v2 wont connect via bluetooth. i can detect it but it wont connect no matter what i do and after a while my dualshock v2 stops pairing. and then the connect fails
 
Sounds like a mobo bluetooth. You could try downloading newer drivers for it and see if that helps.

I myself have had issues using internal bluetooth for gaming controllers. I used an external one that is verified to be 2.0+ compatible and it works just fine. If it is not 2.0 or higher, it will not work with PS controllers.

I have a video on using it with SCP. But I have since then stopped using SCP and just connect the PS controller directly to dongle from Windows bluetooth screen. Works fine.

i found a solution by tinkering with some settings and something. there is no solution, not that i can use time on it to find out it would be.... counterproductive
