Nations at war, M9 earth quakes, giant tsunamis, world hunger, thousands die everywhere... but who cares!, right? 'cause DNF is going to be a extra month late! doh!
If you've really been waiting for the last 13 years you're a moron, and you can wait some more.

Delayed? So what!??
What is all the hype around this game?
I've played Duke Nukem as a kid and so what?
Grow up you stipid kids, stop bitching around.

[citation][nom]C 64[/nom]Just one more month of delay..... At my age I heard this so many times I lost count of it.Maybe the title of the article should read: Duke Nukem delayed forever again.[/citation]

I seriously think I have dyslexia, because when I first read the other article title, I thought it said Duke Nukem Delayed Forever.

svdb, yes there are plenty of tragedies going on around the world, but this is an electronic website. I'm sure people are saddened by what's going on, but sitting around feeling sorry does nothing and doesn't help anyone. Why does waiting for something make someone a moron?

I get your point, but might I suggest that its not fun even at first to pick on a retarded kid...especially for the retarded kid.
Just a thought

I think I would almost be happier with a true sequel to duke nukem using the same engine as the first one. Not some modern interpretation of it.

Maybe theyll read my post and come out with Duke Nukem 1.1

[citation][nom]blader15sk8[/nom]Blizzard and Valve have nothing on Duke Nukem in terms of delays, lol.Does anyone even care about Duke Nukem anymore? It probably won't even feel like the same game considering it is a completely different team working on it. It will end up flopping like Perfect Dark Zero.[/citation]
Valve does, mainly on their get go from half life to half life 2. Although Valve did succeed in buckling down with their promise to continue on after the Beta leaked, where the game managed to release with a semi different story.
On Gearbox, it's great to see them add as much as they can and get rid of bugs before releasing. Even the smallest glitch will make people say, "This game is shit, it can never be compared to the original Duke Nukem!" On that basis, it's smart of them to continue and polish the game before release, as well as hopefully releasing the game with what they originally planned and not being forced to go and make a, "modernly appropriate game." Although a censored version among the uncensored versions should be released so that the game is banned less.

There should be ZERO news on this. They should not say a thing. NOT a single thing! No articles, no news, no comments. Just let it all die. Then if they really are working on it and really do finish it, still say nothing. Except offer a link to download the demo without warning when it's finally finished. Actions speak louder than words.

Can you imagine the shock waves across the web? People would be SO shocked, they'd be like, "HEY, you won't believe this, but I downloaded duke nukem forever demo!", "Yeah sure", "no really! look!!!" THAT's how it should be done. If it were a real game that really existed and could be bought, along with downloadable demo, the word would spread so fast they would not even need to advertise it at this point. Even TV news would probably make a small mention of how the game is finally finished. Word would spread faster than a viral video because everyone knows DNF has been vaperware. But a real link would shock people.

Whats a few more weeks in the grand scheme of DNF? I mean it's been 15 years already, I think I can hang on a little longer....

BUT IT BETTER BE AWESOME

It's been delayed so many times that many players of the original Duke Nukem 3D game have long since passed away. The original developer team is now dead with the exception of the youngest coder Ken Silverman who's now 89 and on his death bed. With a new team and gearbox software, these are exciting times.
