Good evening folks, I'm running a HP Envy 700-215xt with a Nvidia NVS 510. The monitor is a NEC MD213MG with a native resolution of 1536 x 2048. I'm using dual link DVI cables from the monitors to the included adapters from Nvidia that are DVI to mini DP.
1200 x1600 is the best I can do. 1536 x 2048 is NOT listed as an option in the list.
1536 x 1024 is actually listed ABOVE 1200 x 1600 on the list ( thought it's ranked by size? )
When I choose this option my desktop is split into duplicate copies of each other. So 2 duplicate desktops at:
1536 x 1024
1536 x 1024 ( stacked like this )
If I were to create a custom resolution of 1536 x 2048 at 60 Hz the screen flickers & flashes and I have to wait for the timers to default and revert back to previous settings.
Nvidia chat support says they've not seen this before and are looking into it.
Thought I'd see if anyone here can shed some light on this problem ?
