I am having difficulty getting my Alienware monitor, which is spec'd at 240 Hz, to go anywhere near that (60 Hz at the moment). I have read a few Tom's threads and internet videos on how to up the setting.
I run in "duplicate this screen" mode with a Panasonic TV that is stuck at 60 Hz. It occurs to me that the OS may not let me set the Alienware monitor to a higher speed so long as the other monitor is stuck at 60 Hz? A lowest common denominator situation?
