CCP Games' first-person shooter on the PlayStation 3 is shutting down after three years. A new FPS game is in development for the PC based on "Dust 514" and the work from Project Legion.

I never quite understood Dust. It looked like a lot of fun, and I have always been a huge fan of 'Spreadsheets in Space' (EVE Online). The people who play that game are hard core, and build huge rigs to run multiple instances of it on a single box for all of their alt accts... and then they release Dust on PS3? I feel like there is a lot more similarity in the Xbox and PC crowd than PS3 and PC. It always seemed like such an odd decision.

Anywho, happy to see that we will get our own version of Dust on PC finally. Just might be enough to resurrect my EVE acct.

They put all their resources into this turd and scrapped the Vampire/WOD MMO they had been working on for over 5 years. I hope they fail miserably....
