Any suggestions on dust filter options?

I am in a same situation and there are no 230 mm fan dust filter which I think it is a loss for fan dust manufacturer and yes it would require modding.

At first I thought I may choose 2X Silverstone SST-FF142B 140mm x2 Fan Filter with Magnet for 320mm x 155mm fans or vents (Black) and see what I can do with this.
But it might be easier if I check out Air vent filter and get something really light and thin, cut around a 230 mm fan platter and nip tuck between the case and the fan guard grid.
To test prior doing the work, I would try to cover the fan with the air vent fabric and see if the air flow is suitable because remember the 230 mm is only 900 RPM ~10%
