dvd drive disappeared - Also can\'t boot cd anymore

i have a hp amd processor, and after uninstalling norton security I now can't load the eset disk: it won't autoplay and I don't think the dvd drive is showing up at all. please help!

So your DVD drive is not showing at all.
I would suggest unistalling the Device(DVD)/Drivers from Device Manager and reboot and let windows look for drivers.
