DVD is always Shown Empty disk

why DVD drive always shown empty disk,when I put Original Printed CD It's Work Probably,but when I put Normal Writes CD It's Shown ME Empty Disk

Its probably a faulty dvd writer. I would suggest testing it out with a new one. They are fairly cheap running at about 15 bucks.
