I used to use DVD-lab for my dvd authoring until I found that I was having
some compatibility problems in some players when I burned my DVDs. Is it in
the file system somehow? I would author the dvd in DVD-lab and then burn
the dvd files to the disc in Roxio 6. I use TDK DVD-R media and a TDK +R/-R
burner. The burned DVDs worked fine in my player, didn't work in others,
and would work in some for a little bit, but then start skipping
indefinitely.

Anybody else had these kinds of problems with dvds burned from DVD-lab?

I now use Adobe Encore DVD and am never turning back. I tried using the
same files that I was having problems with in DVD-lab and my dvds now work
fine.

Just curious if anybody had run into this type of problem before...

I found a sim. problem with some I had burned that I had authored with
one program then simply copied the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders
with some other stuff I added. It seems that some players also expect the
files to be in a particular order. The following bunch of links is
something
I had sent myself ... take a look through them and see if that helps your
situation.

This one looks interesting -- mentions the folders must not only be
organized, but
in the right order on the disc.
