DVDs on PC problem

When i play DVDs on my PC the screen goes black after about 3-4 minutes of watching but i still get audio, this problem only started about a week ago, it is not WMP because i can listen to music and it is not the disk its self because i have tried multiple DVDs, Thanks if you can help me.

No i dont use them and anyway it would not come on as media is active.
