DVI 4 me?

I've just got into this whole DVI thingy and is interested to see if the early TFT's can get anything from DVI. I gotta Viewsonic VE150 and wondered if quality or screen speed will improve if i got a vid card wif DVI. Coz my counterstrike is pretty blurry and it's hard 4 headshot ^_^
Actually... do u need any special connection on your monitor LCD for DVI? Or is it just the vid card that's gotta have it? Me confused... any help is appreciated...

It's a different type of connector, so if yours only has an analog connector, your monitor doesn't support DVI. For teh blurriness- are you playing at its native resolution (1024x768 I'd assume)?
