Hi all, quick question here. I've been browsing all the topics about this topic in this forum without much success. I'm trying to get 144hz as an option on my Nvidia monitor settings.

So I have this computer:
http://www.sagernotebook.com/Notebook-NP8372.html
It has only HDMI and MINI Displayport options for plugging in external monitors.

And this monitor:
https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B00IG0Z0HY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It has DVI-D, VGA, and HDMI connection options.

First I tried HDMI 1.3 or higher to connect the two. That hasn't worked, I only got 60hz as an option.

Then I tried this connector:
https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B01FJN0KRU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And that didn't work either. Still only 60hz. Yes I've installed the latest drivers, yes I've updated all the software, yes everything is plugged in correctly. Nothing I've tried has gotten the 144hz option on my monitor display. I've been searching for adapters that might carry the 1080p144hz option, but none of them have worked. What do you guys recommend? I hear you are experts over here. Let me know, thanks,

I see. Unfortunately, I got this monitor a ways back and can't find the box for it, so the return to Amazon is not possible. And I'd need to make sure this one is returned before I get another...

The monitor's HDMI port is limited to 60 Hz at 1080p, it doesn't matter what HDMI version your computer has.
