So yeah today I got my new monitor ASUS VG248QE 144 hz, but the problem is monitor says it gets no signal with DVI cable, but when I plug my old monitor's HDMI cable it works perfectly, but as far as I know I can't get 144hz with simple HDMI cable, what do you recommend me to do to get 144hz display with my DVI cable, I got it from the monitor box so it's brand new just like monitor 😀

Solution
According to the specs that I can find - it has two dual-link DVI interfaces, one is a Dual Link DVI-I, one is a Dual Link DVI-D, so both should support 144hz digital monitors like his. It could be an issue with it being a single link cable. Again, though, it's odd that it doesn't light the display up at all, even if it can't go into 144hz mode.
To activate hit 144hz refresh on that monitor, it must either be hooked up via DisplayPort, or Dual-Link DVI. You would also need to make sure you're using DVI-D and your video card supports Dual-Link DVI-D because if I'm not mistaken as I'm pretty sure that's an all-digital panel (no analog support) so make sure you hook it up to a DVI-D, or a DVI-I (no DVI-A with adapters or anything weird).

Mhm my card is gtx 760 so I'm more than sure it supports any cable.

What exact model GTX 760? Sometimes the devil really is in the details. Remember, it has to be a dual-link DVI-I/D to support 144hz. Although, oddly enough, you would think it would default down to 60hz (or whatever the default speed is for single link operation) - but it should still at least -work-.

EVGA 2GB VRAM, so if it's a DVI simple cable that comes with the monitor itself do I need a display port?

You have to make sure it's actually a dual-link cable, and you have dual-link ports:

It's also possible the cable broke.
Are you sure you set the monitor for the dvi input?
Are you sure your GPU's DVI ports work?
