dvi-d to vga converter to my gt 1030 and the display not working

I have a problem, i use the dvi-d converter to vga for my gt 1030 but the screen show nothing and it's black after i turn on pc. it's my converter problem or what? pls answer thanks

Bignastyid knows. Nvidia has removed all analog outputs from their GPUs starting with the 10 series of cards. We get posts like this all the time now as people try to get their old monitors working with new stuff. You need an active adapter to get this working. Or a new monitor that accepts digital inputs.

yes i put it in the graphic card. If i put it in the motherboard, the display show me the picture and the words to put it into graphic card.
