So I had my PC connected to a monitor via a DVI cable and everything was working
perfectly fine until one time that I connected my PC to my TV via VGA cable(used a dvi-to-vga adapter on the GPU port). When I reconnected my PC to its initial monitor I couldn't get any output. My GPU is an HD 7770(one DVI port, one HDMI), my monitor has 2 ports(one DVI, one VGA).
I've been using the same adapter and a VGA cable ever since to make due but I really
want to fix this and get back to DVI. I tried my monitor and DVI cable on a different PC and it worked fine so the problem is on my computer and more spefically my graphics card(I guess). Its port must be fine as well as the adapter on it is working.
It's like my GPU suddenly stopped displaying digital and can only display analog. I had connected my PC to the TV many times prior and there wasn't any problem when I reconnected it to its monitor, don't know what happened now.
Anybody can help? Sorry for the long post, I looked around and couldn't find anything helpful so I'm in need of assistance.
Thanks in advance!
