DVI problem Nvidia no display before driver load and AMD no Display after Driver load

Hi,

I recently brought an AMD 250x 1G DDR5 Graphics card (Powercolor AXR7 250X 1GBD5-HE).

When I connect this card with a DVI cable, monitor show nothing but a blank screen after the windows load screen has finished. the screen flickers with random colours then switches to standby mode.

For troubleshooting purpose, I replace the card with an old Nvidia 210 card. Interested thing is that, now I don't get any display before driver load. I get the display when the windows login screen appear.
But in case of VGA connection, I don't have any problem with both of the card.

My System Information is -

Processor - Intel Core i3 E8400 3GHz.
MB - Gigabyte G41MT-S2
RAM - 8 GB DDR3
Graphics Card - Powercolor AXR7 250X 1GBD5-HE
Monitor - DELL IN2020M

Do I have this right: VGA = display, DVI = login screen

- Have you swapped HDD/SSD?
- If above is correct, have you tried another DVI cable?

If display works fine on VGA, either bad DVI cable, bad DVI port on the monitor, or the card.

No, I don't swapped HDD/SSD and I don't tried anothe DVI cable too.

If display works fine on VGA, either bad DVI cable, bad DVI port on the monitor, or the card.

I don't thing monitor have any problem, because it give display before driver in ATI card and after driver in Nvidia card.

May be it is the problem with the DVI cable. Let my try with a new cable.

No, I don't swapped HDD/SSD and I don't tried anothe DVI cable too.

So you haven't tried swapping those, or am I misunderstanding? Doing those would be the absolute easiest
