so here is the thing i have 2 monitors setup and connected to my GPU but i would like a third (ik im a greedy bastard) but im out of ports for my GPU so i tried connecting my DVI cable to my motherboard and nothing happens 🙁 how do i get my third monitor working?
p.s the 1 monitor is done through hdmi and the other is a hdm1 to DVI adapter.

Solution
There might have to poke around BIOS to find more settings that have to be changed to make it work, for example integrated graphics might have to be made the primary adapter. It's also possible your motherboard/CPU just doesn't support it,
The DVI connector on your motherboard is run off the integrated graphics. Assuming your CPU has integrated graphics you need to go into BIOS and make sure integrated graphics are forced to enabled. Usually when you have an external GPU installed the integrated are automatically disabled.

Also, only extended display mode will be supported in this configuration.

just turned it from disabled to enabled my computer turned off twice now nothing has changed?
