Dx-diag shows low v ram

I have an Inspirion n5110 which has nvidia geforce 525m.( graphic card of dedicated vram 1gb ) . but dx-diag shows that i have onlg a dedicated memory of 64 mb , that too intel hd graphics card . but hardware detected shows me nvidia card , my drivers are properly installed . please help me out . i m unable to play games , that require 512 mb v ram , despite of having 1 gb vram.. wat could be the solution....?

what do you actually mean with 'unable to play'? The games wont start at all, or are they just running really slow and laggy? If the games wont start at all, you might have a problem. But if they are just laggy, everything is working as it should. 525m is a weak card...

though you might wanna check the bios if there is a setting to disable integrated intel hd graphics or something like that
