Question Dying Light 2 fails to start-up, then shows a blank error message panel ?

Been having an issue lately where attempting to start Dying Light2 via Steam will result in the game's splash banner being displayed before a blank error message panel is displayed.

Has anyone ever encountered or better resolved the issue ? Usually happens if it is the 2nd time Im trying to play the game whilst the PC is still running from a previous session. Restarting the PC does resolve the issue temporarily, but will occur if the above is repeated.

I had a similar issue after installing the game. For me the resolution was to uninstall the whole game, then download it into a custom folder on my Desktop. Maybe that will work for you.

A month late with this response so don't know if the OP solved the problem. But first I would have the files for DL2 checked via steam first before doing anything else.
There was an update to the game couple days back & when I launched it yesterday to play, it CTD during loading from last save. But restarting the game again & all was fine.
I'm happy the devs are still adding content to this game.
