Dynamic Vsync: What is it?

Hello everyone!

I want to know if Dynamic Vsync it's Vsync but just for AMD?

Imagine I turn off the VSync in some games like you guys know VSync ON drops a little of FPS's If I use Dynamic Vsync instead of VSync will perfom better?

(Talking about this because my GPU is Coil Whine a bit now)

If implemented properly, vsync simply caps the frame rate at the monitor's vert refresh rate, usually 60 fps. It doesn't actually drop the frame rate, just limits it. AMD's Dynamic Vsync is akin to Nvidia's Adaptive Vsync. If your frame rate is below 60 fps, vsync is automatically turned off.

I have an Nvidia card, but it should be quite similar regardless. I use adaptive Vysnc in all my games, rather than the in-game vsync options, the only slight downside is you get tearing occasionally when the frame rate recovers from below your monitors frame rate.
